My thoughts are with you all, the untimely loss of Fred must have shocked you all. Loss of a last parent is a difficult thing- final links to the past, being unable to ask questions about childhood memories etc. Fond memories of gatherings with you all at OConnor Tosolini gatherings and chat with your dad. Hope you are all managing and looking after each other- regards Kath Ornsby

We are very grateful to have had the privilege of participating in the respectful Funeral Service and Requiem Mass, befitting the life of Fred, typified by the eloquent explanation during the Sermon of the last Mass he attended, so shortly before his sudden death. Thank you Elle for giving us that opportunity, which we were very pleased to pass on to most of our fellow Adelaide Medical Graduates from 1964. Fred and I were together in the five years of Secondary School at Sacred Heart College and again in the six years of Medical School. We extend our deepest sympathy to all of the family at your sudden and very sad loss. John & Pauline Turnbull

From here, far away in New York I join you, Andrew, Ellena, Lisa and Anne-Marie, very saddened in your great loss. There are so many wonderful memories of your special family starting with flatting with your mother, Anne, in Euroa when her courtship with Fred began, then walking down the aisle as bridesmaid to the perfect couple, Fred and Anne, who went onto fruitful and the happiest of lives bringing into the world four beautiful children and thirteen grandchildren whose photos were proudly shown to me on each of my Australian visits. Fred how very much missed you will be.
