Family Message

Daughter of Gordon Ratcliff Carter and Lilian Maude Carter (nee Mellon) and younger sister of Mavis Smith (dec. USA). Beloved mother to Denice, Donald (dec.) and Robert, mother in law to Murray, Veronica and Marilou. Amazing Nana to her six grandkids, Kiri, Steven, Mark, Lucas, Bryan and Gabriel, and to her great extended family. She truly was Nana to all and touched many lives. She died peacefully in her sleep at age 102. Valda's family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at Victoria Grange Aged Care for their compassion and care in her final months.
