Lorraine was our bands VBL delegate. She made the long trip to Hamilton on several occasions to attend our concerts. We always appreciated her making the trip to see us, and her passionate support of Brass banding. Our condolences to her family and friends, from all at Hamilton Brass.

Julie and I met Lorraine through Phil and we can see how he got his story-telling skills. We saw a determined woman who loved her family dearly and gave us a lot of joy with her anecdotes. We will take her positive attitude to heart.

My heartfelt condolences go out to all of the Johnson family, particularly my dear friend, Phil, as you navigate your way through this highly emotional time of processing your grief.I have such fond memories of the years of I spent with Lorraine watching our beloved St.Kilda FC in the nineties. I recall the day I randomly sat upon an empty seat beside her at Waverley Park and suddenly my heart went boom as our heavenly hearts connected.
