Irish Australian Support & Resource Bureau — 21 February 2021
In remembrance of her altruistic life. Phyllis performed an outreach service to the Irish Community for many years, long before there was any official funding from the Irish Government. Phyllis worked tirelessly with dedication and compassion to helping those in need. The Irish Australian Support and Resource Bureau (IASRB) had the privilege of connecting with Phyllis during the COVID-19 pandemic in person and during telephone conversations. Phyllis enjoyed reminiscing about the early days of the Bureau and about the current outreach work we were undertaking. During this period we delivered care packs to Phyllis, in which she would share the contents with others who she felt were in greater need. The more we delivered, the more Phyllis shared with people around her in Moe. This being the true nature of her kindness and charitable consideration of the community around her.Rest in Peace Phyllis - we will strive to honour your legacy.Irish Australian Support & Resource Bureau Inc.
