Spring of 1996. Rudie Heineke gave me, a job. & I became. 1 of 100, Local Concert Working Crew. For the 1996, Rod Stewart Concert. At Sask Place Saskatoon. & just before lunch. Rudie took a big chance. When he told me. That he liked, how hard I worked. So Rudie added me. To be 1 of only 8, Local Concert Show Call Stage Hand Working Crew. & 4 concerts later. For 1996, KISS Alive World Wide Concert. I was now. 1 of 150, Local Concert Working Crew. & during what's called The IN. I worked w the KISS Sign. & w Paul's Zipline. + I was also asked. To help set up. Peter Criss' drum set. & after working Show Call. I was asked. To work w Gene Simmons. & w Gene's Roadie. As their Local Working Stage Hand. During the KISS Concert. & because I did. A big! Big! Big! Big! No! No! Instead of being fired! I was later rewarded! With the left over contents! From Gene Simmons' mini cooler! & in 2014. When I was no longer a Local Working Stage Hand. I was back stage. For the KISS Monster Tour Concert. Cause I went to see. My ole boss. My good friend Rudie. As I hadn't seen him. In a while. As I was no longer, a Local Stage Hand. & after we chatted. As I was to head out. Rudie asked for me, to stay. & to watch, the KISS show. & just before, I met up w Rudie. A KISS roadie. Pulled me off, to the side. Cause he remembered me. From many concerts. That we worked together. & at the end. Of our converse. That roadie told me. That as far, as he knew. No other! Local Working Stage Hand. Has done the same! Soooo. I'm the only! Local Working Stage Hand Ever! From at least! 1996-2014. & when I met up, w Gene Simmons. On 2022-12-10, in Saskatoon Canada. I reminded Gene of that. So when I wasn't looking. Gene had, the signing booth moved. So Gene & I. Could have, a 1 armed hug together. As I was the last one there. & none of that! Would never have happened! If it wasn't for! My ole boss! My good buddy Rudie Heineke. Rudie was the most patient. & most understanding. & most awesome a boss ever! He never not one time! Did he ever! Raise his voice. One of the many reasons. Why Rudie will always be remembered. In a most loving way! 1 time. We're about to start working The IN. So I said to Rudie. I said I hear, WWF/WWE is coming next week. & Rudie says to me. That he already has! 8-10 Local Crew. Who've already asked. So I said. Well, how many men? Does WWF/WWE need. & Rudie says. They need 8. So I said. No! They only need 7! Hahaha. Cause I'm working! The WWF/WWE show. So that's! How easy going. Rudie Heineke was. & that's how. I got to work, the WWF/WWE show. When I also learned, on how to set up. & tear down. A WWF/WWE wrestling ring. + shows like AC/DC Alice Cooper Aerosmith Cheap Trick Def Leppard ZZ Top Van Halen w Sammy Hagar CS&N Toby Keith Cher KISS George Jones Charley Pride Dwight Yokum Garth Brooks. Well over! 250 major concerts, under my belt alone. All cause of, my good friend. & ole boss! Rudie Heineke! Rudy! You will be missed, very much. & will never forgotten. Rest In Peace my friend. I met Rudi and Irene in the bar , where I served them.. we started to talk, and that was the beginning off a friendship on distance. When they come to Amsterdam , we met each other. It always felt like the mom and dad , I dont have. Rudi talks about the things he did in his life. I was impressed with the storys. The love he had for Irene . Amazing to see and feel it. Im glad I had the pleasure to meet someone like that, in my live .. miles away. But feel so comfortable.. thank you Rudi , and Irene .. big kiss from Amsterdam. Hennie
