James Frank Davis was my late father. He married my mother, Barbara Elizabeth Broughton, on 29/12/1959. I was born on 30/12/1961, followed by my sister, Sonja Louise Harris, born on 17/8/1963. Our father abandoned us, along with the rest of his family, late 1964 and fled overseas never to make contact with us again. Sonja and I tried to contact him late in life and received no response. We would have loved to have got to know our father. Through Google we got to learn about our fathers art. It was almost a year after he passed that we learnt of his death. We made contact with his second wife, Dr Janet Prideaux, while she was battling stage 4 breast cancer and in her final months of life. Janet said we meant nothing to her or James, as we were only his sperm. We were pleased to learn that our father lived a full life with lots of art, travel, wining and dining. We will never know how he could abandon us and the rest of his family in Sydney. May he Rest In Peace!
