I'll miss Ken, the festivals I attended always featured Ken with his 3 pointed hat and his claw hammer banjo. He would often corner and amuse me with the most bizarre jokes. RIP Ken. Condolences to his family

Farewell Ken, it was wonderful to know you and experience your generosity of spirit. The Fiddlers Convention had a great impact on me and my kids over the 20 years we attended. Sad to realise that you have gone, thankyou for everything you have given to those of us who knew you

Loads of memories from the Fiddlers convention, Nariel Creek and Monday night D&D with Ken and Maddy. The memory that keeps coming back is going up to Camp Eureka a couple of years before Fiddlers commenced with Ken driving while I try to keep his russian poodle Louie from leaping sround the car. Ken talking enthusiastically about starting a music festival and cracking bad jokes...

I knew Ken from the 70`s. Booked him at various folk clubs. Watched his antics up the creek. He always put a smile on my face. He would make a beeline for me and by the look on his face, he had a new joke. No more jokes. Buggar. R.I.P.
Annie McGlade — 19 May 2018
So many memories. D&D with 'Dildo' the allegedly lawful good character. 1982 at Nariel with Ken, Maddy, the late Michael O'Rourke, Vengeance, Andre, Geoff, Dodsworth et al throwing rainbows. The early Fiddler's - the G&T bribes for the road bowls. Playing with the early High Times. Then later Fiddlers & Jambos chewing the fat. Not to mention him being the face of Viking Computers. Ornery and hilarious - he will be missed.
Andrew Cole — 18 May 2018

I will miss the quiet talks Ken and I had on the Wednesday night before the Fiddlers Convention. With one hand he battled all of the medical issues and the other hand held on to this Festival that he created and loved. His legacy will live on .
