I knew Anne through the Darebin U3A, where she continued her quest for knowledge. I had a lot of respect for Anne, she was a serious thinker and intellectually curious about a broad range of subjects. She was a member of our French class for a couple of years, where she deepened her knowledge of French to be able to translate French horticultural publications for her Begonia association. More recently, we were studying Mesopotamian history together. She was a truly impressive woman with a love of learning, and I was so glad, listening to the service, to hear that she had been able to pursue her dream of further education despite the obstacles in her path. We could all learn a lot from Anne.

I saw Anne as a client at cohealth for exercise physiology. She was a lovely lady who was always so lovely and worked extremely hard to make sure she could stay strong and independent as possible. It has been a pleasure to know AnneRest in Peace AnneKate, cohealth

Truly an inspirational women who lived a life full of love, learning, and service. She left an honorable legacy and touched so many people - many of whom we will never know. Her constant presence in my life has helped shape my direction in so many ways. I just hope to accomplish a tiny part of what she left behind. RIP dear Aunty Anne.
