Tony passed away with Acute Lymphatic Leukaemia after a brave four year fight.
Tony was gentle, intelligent, calm, generous and incredibly brave and loved his life and even through his illness he continued to fill every day with his many volunteer groups in retirement.
He loved to help others but always kept away from the limelight hiding his many skills behind a personality that was always
gentle and unassuming but full of humour and kindness.
In his work at Mobil Oil, his role in creating and maintaining Westgate Park, his support of his family and partner George, his
friendship to so many and his participation in his many environmental and community groups, he has left a wonderful legacy
and will be sadly missed.
Life partner of George, brother and brother-in-law of Rosemary Pitt & George (decd) and Peter & Maureen Flude. Uncle of David & Sue, Richard & Michael and Josh & Julie, Sarah & Ian, & Emma. Great uncle of Sam, Georgia & Charlie and George, Henry, Miles & Ada.
