Family Message

It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Mark Lucas, who passed away on the 18th of October 2023, at the Austin Hospital, Melbourne, aged 61.

Mark was the beloved husband of Janice, precious father to Sophie, Grace and Matthew, eldest son of Shirley and brother to Steve, son-in-law to Deirdre, brother-in-law to Richard, Sally, Julie and Damaris, and uncle of five nieces and nephews.

Mark spent his last day at home in his English cottage garden which gave him so much joy, and had just travelled around Tasmania by camper-van with Janice - one of so many more travel plans. He lived his life with joy and kindness to all, and will be missed greatly right across the world by extended family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at St Andrew’s Uniting church in Fairfield, followed by refreshments in the hall and garden. Please do wear colourful, bright clothing as he would have liked.
