Family Message

Our dad passed away on Friday night at Casey Hospital due to complications of his heart. He was surrounded by his family and friends.

Dad had a condition, albeit no particular cause was found, which resulted in him undergoing a double bypass surgery 20 years back. At that time doctors predicted a lifespan of 10 years but God, in his infinite mercies, granted him much more years and enabled him to enjoy the happiness and love brought about by his 4 grandchildren.

Dad was a devout husband, father, grandfather and a Christian. He was an honest, upright and a proper gentleman.

He was a man of prayer all through his life and instilled the importance of prayer in our lives.

Dad enjoyed hard work and could never sit idle.

He had strong morals and principles from which he never wavered in his life.

Dad was a voracious reader and had a huge collection of books which he had painstakingly collected over the years. He liked gardening, housekeeping and maintained himself immaculately.

Dad never wavered from his strong faith in Christ. He stood by them no matter what the circumstances were.

We miss dad very very much. We grieve now and for some time more. God will give us the strength to overcome this sorrow as it says in His Word.

We take comfort in the grace and hope that we have in our Lord Jesus Christ that dad is safe in the arms of his Saviour and is in no more pain.

We thank God for the eternal life that we have been given in Christ Jesus and that we will be reunited with our dad in that place where there is no more tears nor sorrow.
