Paris was serenely calm, kind and compassionate at a time when I needed the support of a friendly face in a place full of....well, criminals! He was well loved and respected by all inside and he took his role as a peer mentor seriously. I was there with him near the end and despite the pain, he was always a gentleman and maintained a positive attitude that was an inspiration to others.
