I am deeply saddened to hear of the tremendous loss of dear Carol/Gaga. While words feel inadequate at a time like this, I wanted you to know that my heart goes out to each of you.She was truly one of the kindest people I have ever known. Her gentle spirit and boundless compassion touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. As a grandmother, she had the gift of making each of my children, her grand-children, feel completely cherished and understood. The way her eyes would light up when speaking about her grandchildren was pure joy to witness.Her love for music and poetry was a big part of who she was, and she shared that beauty with others so generously. I will always remember her curiosity about the world, , always eager to learn something new or see things from a different perspective.What resonates with me most about her legacy is her humility. Despite all her wisdom and the profound impact she had on those around her, she carried herself with such grace and modesty. She had that rare quality of making others feel heard and valued.I am ever grateful for the time she was in my life and the love, wisdom and kindness she gave, which ripples outward through her beloved grandchildren and all who knew and loved her.With deepest sympathy , Melinda
