Such lovely memories of Ken who was more like a brother than an Uncle. He was very much one of our family. Buying a slice of watermelon at the railway cart as small children when we all went shopping on the way to the Welsford house: going fishing at Willy Pier with our fathers'( Bob and Fred): watching Kenny negotiate his special radio which he loved: looking on as he reared little chickens in the backroom of Alice Street: listening to him as he sang his "Little Cloud that cried" Johnny Ray song: being at some of the same parties as teenagers: being part of Ken and Irene's wedding on 108degree day in Yarraville when the shops all ran out of cool drinks etc.: time spent at the Lalor Hepburn springs holiday house: celebrations with Ken and Gwen in later years: and my gratitude to Ken and Gwen for always visiting our Mum and Dad (Bob and Esther) in Williamstown: Kenny was such a lovely person with a nice sense of humour who loved his family and "The Bulldogs".Thank you Ian for keeping us informed and apologies for not being able to attend the service but I will be watching it online and thinking of you all - Love to Roger, Ian and Lisa and Gwen.
