Ian played an important part lifting the spirits of my husband, Allen, who was ill for several years. After Allens passing Ian kept in touch with me, continuing his repertoire of jokes and one liners. He was thoughtful, jovial, generous with his time to keep connected, chatty, always singing the praises of his parents, sister, daughter, of whom he was immensely proud, and his nieces. He loved all his family, cousins included and treasured their sharing meals, especially his parents biriyani. Rest in peace, dear friend, you have gone too soon and will be missed.
