Fran, Ted and family,I learnt so much more about Jo from our gathering last night (thanks very much Ted for attending) - a gentle, strong man of faith, humour and his own mind.We, at L'Arche, will miss him very much; but know that he lives on in our hearts, minds, thoughts and memories; and that he is with his Jesus.Some words from "The Prophet" which I hope you will find meaningful:"For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."Praying and journeying with you during this difficult time...May Jo's soul Rest in Peace.Jo and you will always be part of our L'Arche family...With prayers, peace and love always,Mel
