Peter Christidis — 24 July 2020

I am deeply saddened at the passing of Peter, we were friends from Primary School & in the school cricket team together.In 1969, (grade 6), our cricket team won the school district cricket final.The cricket team recently had their 50th reunion (December, 2019) and it was a wonderful get together and a marvellous opportunity to see everyone there and have a few laughs talking about the "old" days.Peter was his usual talkative self & we all told him that he still looks exactly the same as he did 50 years ago !!!He was a caring, wonderful & compassionate person, always having time for others.Having been taken so suddenly is an under statement, he had so much more to give to everyone around him, most of all the members of his loving family.Elizabeth and Michael, your pain at Peter's loss would be insurmountable right now, but just take a moment to celebrate the joy and happiness of being lucky enough to share him being with you all for the time that he was.To all his little nieces and nephews, he loved you all very much so just make sure you have lasting, loving memories of your uncle all your lives.Rest in Peace Peter, your with the GREAT Collingwood players now...Coventry brothers...Collier brothers...etc...etcPeter Christidis
