Always so friendly and considerate to all, Tony was a dedicated environmental volunteer who brought people, organisations, and resources together in recreating Westgate Park as beautiful natural parkland. As a bird enthusiast motivated by Tony to participate in bird surveys in the park, I have seen the transformation of Westgate Park to become one of Melbournes great birding hot-spots. Much of this can be attributed to Tonys achievements in making it all happen over the last 20 years.
