Our local community is sadder and poorer for the loss of a community and environmental champion Tony Flude. His immense organising capacity, his calm and reasonable approach to all crisis - big and small - and his decency were his trademark. His enduring legacy locally will be Westgate Park, the Ecocentre and commitment to justice and sustainably. His commitment to the future of the planet and its diversity in all its forms endures in these works . He may no longer be here with us all now. But he will be warmly remembered and honoured.
