Im so glad to have been able to work with Tony to help bring volunteers, vehicles and funding support to Westgate Park. Tony was consistently reliable for Landcare Australia over two decades and was always an absolute pleasure to work with. I have fond memories of planning meetings in the compound to discuss large volunteering days with hundreds of people, being the glad recipient of many of Tonys tours of Westgate Park, setting up and packing down the catering for large events and just having a yarn about how we can share the amazing work of George and the whole team at Westgate Biodiversity with more Melbournians. A true urban Landcare champion who will be dearly missed.
