Theres something about Aunty Kate - and her legacy - which captures the ebb and flow of life. Her combination of carer of her parents, nephews, nieces and their children, and her educating nurses. She had clear boundaries between these two roles. Sometimes she came across as no nonsense as she did not tolerate fools - yet she was compassionate and considered. She was a woman of her time.
