The cricket world has lost one of its great admirers. More importantly, we have all lost a friend with a sharp intellect and relentless enthusiasm. However, if he has bequeathed to his children one part of himself, then let it be his ability welcome anyone to his circle. His eager enjoyment of the company of others was buoyant and infectious.
