Stan was a intuitive engineer and a good friend for 50 years. His approach was guided by his principle of get it right the first time many structures around Australia and indeed the world are a testament of his skill.As a friend we had many a long discussion on the state of the construction industry. Also many family get togethers. The most memorable was a Halloween party when he felt that too many witches would be evident, so he arrived as the good fairy in a tutu and boots whilst carrying a carrying a wand.He will be truly missed.Mockers.
