Its a miracle that it didnt end 40 years ago deep in the Amazon for Wheels and I, when we dodged almost certain murder and or death by wild animals deep in the jungle. But weve dined out on that story enough. Suffice to say, we were eternally grateful for the lives that followed. For Wheels that included succumbing to Enzos deep and enduring love, the births of their beautiful daughters Giuliana and Emilia, and an amazing career all set in a blissfully happy family life in Ivanhoe. And for Wheels and I, our friendship continued to grow in new dimensions as we raised our babies to maturity alongside each other. With lots of adventures and new friendships along the way the biking, cryptics, yoga, swimming, the holidays. When we took our girls backpacking after school it cemented lifelong bonds. My girls absolutely adore their Aunty Wheels and their almost sisters as do I. My heart feels broken right now for all that she has endured and she will be so dearly missed. Big loves to Enz, Giuliana, Emilia, the magnificent Whelehan and Bisogni families and dear friends. She was indeed one of the best.
