I found out about Leonie D'Aprano's passing today. So saddened to hear this news.I worked with her at Brunswick South Primary School in the early 80's -she was a beautiful person and a fantastic teacher - always jovial and positive. I will always remember her this way. Kelly Mihai

So sad to hear of Leonis death. I remember her from very early days as a visitor to our house as a small child, always kind and endearing. Zelda and Charlie were family friends and I visited Charlie a little before his death. So sorry to hear Leonie has gone too. She was a sweet and generous soul. Kit Noack.

Sending you all our love Seona, Max, Jez, Persephone, Azura and the family. I have so many cherished memories of time spent at the house in Barkly Street, where Leonie and Max always made Seona's friends feel very welcome and safe. Leonie was perpetually warm and smiling, full of humour and kindness, and she will be missed. With love from Phoebe, Chris and Reuben.

Seona, Max, Jez, Persephone, Azura, Shayna and family, my sincerest sympathies. Lots of great and funny memories of Leonie - lots of laughing, some swearing, weak coffee and genuine empathy for other people. Love to all. Oli and Karl and kids.
