Dear Nanna, it is hard to comprehend that we will continue to live on in this world without you in it. How fortunate we were to have you in all our lives including your great grandchildren, Raphael and Joel. The memories we have of you, will forever be etched in our minds and in our hearts. Nanna, you gave us the ultimate gift. When you travelled to Rome and the Vatican for the Canonization of Mary MacKillop, Raphael was only a young boy who had various struggles with Autism. His future was a worry for us but you had faith in him. Your constant prayers and belief were so great that something powerful happened on your trip. When you had a lock of Raphael's hair blessed, we believe a miracle occurred that day. Years later, Raphael is thriving at school, intelligent, successful in both academic and sporting achievements, social and living life to his full potential. He is happy and his future is bright. You prayed for us and praised us as loving and caring parents. We learned from your example, that family is everything. To cherish one another and to stay together. Now is your time to be united with Nannu and your angels in heaven. Rest in Peace Nanna and Great Nanna. We love you and will miss you dearly. You will forever be the Queen of the Fenech Family. With love, Michelle, Craig, Raphael & Joel

Mum you will be greatly missed by all of us. You have always put the family before anything else and guarded us when we were young. Never interferring when we became adults but always telling us to watch out for our children. If only we could be more like you. We love you so much and your leaving us will hurt for a long time. It is difficult to imagine the future without you. You were a wonderful person, kind hearted, loving and strong in faith and will. Love you Ma. God bless you Mummy. Lilian Fenech

My heart is heavy. I just attended a funeral via live stream. In 1998 I had the opportunity to go to Australia. I had become friends online with a social worker from Coburg AU. Together we wrote a grant for me to go out and talk to various schools. One of the most enduring memories from that trip was visiting with Mrs. Josephine, my friends mother. She was wonderful. She told me as long as I was in Australia she would be my mum there so that my mother back home wouldnt have to worry about me. She told me stories of her childhood and what it was like to leave a war torn area and immigrate. She talked about faith, and even gave me a bottle of water her husband had brought back from Lordes. I still have that bottle of holy water. She gave me a set of rosary beads and in the time I spent with her, she found a special place in my heart. I will always and forever remember her kindness, her faith, and her ability to make me feel as if I was at home in her presence. May God send peace and comfort to Agnes, and her brothers and sisters. You are all truly in my prayers at this time.

Dearest MumYou are a remarkable woman who alongside, dad made an amazing team. You are fearlessly protective of your family, but not afraid to say where we are wrong and imparting words of wisdom on how we can make it better and learn.Your resilience continued to the end where you continued to espouse the values you lived by in faith, hope & charity. Your strong faith was an inspiration to all and never wavered. From making the decision with dad to bring your family and grandma, leaving your country and making the journey of thousands of miles from Malta to Australia in 1962 and starting again. You spoke many a time of those days of struggle but you always spoke of the blessings your new home gave you and us and continued to thank God for the providence we found. You are the rock of this family and took the mantle up after dads passing. Now reunited with Joe, Doris , Agnes and all our loved ones in the Fenech & Farrugia family.God Speed Mum, love you always.Benedizione MaAgnes
