Family Message

Olga Scherbanuk (nee: Kuznetsova)
4th July 1947 – 11 March 2023
Much loved wife of Vasily Scherbanuk, mother to Svetlana and Marina, grandmother of Scarlett, Harvey, Chelsea, Archer and Cooper.
Beloved sister of Vasily Kuznetsov and Irene Lapardin.

Olga was a wonderful cook and well-known for her love of photography and photobooking. She was always the first to photograph any special event, ranging from weddings, christenings, and birthdays through to her grandchildren playing sport or baking cookies. She had a passion for travel and enjoyed many trips around Australia and overseas. She loved all things fashion, was a talented seamstress and took much pride in looking her best. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and much loved friends.

She will be dearly missed, fondly remembered and will live forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Holy Protection Russian Orthodox Cathedral (Pokrov) are welcome.


A funeral service for the life of Olga will be held on Monday 20th March at Holy Protection Russian Orthodox Cathedral (Pokrov), 3-7 Albion Street in Brunswick, 12noon
