Dearest Vas, Svetlana and MarinaI was so shocked to hear the news of our precious Olgas passing.Olga was a loved friend and valued colleague. We worked together for a number of years at Zamels and she taught me so much. Not just about jewellery but about style and grace, family, loyalty, generosity, friendship and most of all love. The team she worked with nearly 30 years ago still get together to have dinner and swap stories of our families, children and now grandchildren. Olga was always there showing us with immense pride the pictures of her growing family, the trips taken and lifes events in general. The empty seat at the table will always be toasted.Olga made four of the teams wedding dresses (mine included) such was her generosity of spirit and I remember showing her a picture one day of a coat that I liked, and she offered to make one for me, I had no pattern but that didnt matter, such was her talent. I still have that coat and every time I wear it, I remember her with a smile. We all have our special memories of this beautiful, funny, warm lady and as long as those memories exist Olga will remain with us. We are all so much better off for knowing her and whilst words cannot heal our broken hearts, know that we share your grief and we also share in the love she gave all of us.When I lost my husband, someone gave me these words below. I pass them on to you and hope they somehow give you peace."I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other, that we still are.Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be forever the same as it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow in it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well."--Canon Henry Scott Holland (1847-1918), from a sermon preached 15 May 1910, Saint Paul's, London.

Fedya, Tamara, Vova, Anya (Rudkovsky & Titov) — 19 March 2023

Olya, Our friendship started 58 years ago and blossomed into something very special. As three couples, our lives became intertwined throughout our treasured friendship which we always recognised and appreciated. During these years we all danced at each others weddings, christened each others children, travelled throughout Europe, celebrated birthdays, Easters, weddings, talked non-stop during our frequent yum chas and much much more. We laughed together, cried together and stayed together. We became family. Now our children are godparents to their children and the deep friendship continues. You were forever present, our rock, caring, loveable and friendly - always ready to help. You are part of us and its so hard to let you go. You will live in our hearts forever. Sleep in peace dear friend. Fedya, Tamara, Vova and Anya.

A life so full of love, happiness and joy, that has ended all too soon. T. Olya you gave so much to everyone and will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Your love for family, friends, photography, photo-booking, cooking and lets not forget always looking your best through your love of fashion. You have a special place in my heart being a part of my life and family since the day I was born, with influence across many parts. Across the years I have so many wonderfull and happy memories. From my younger years - holidays, parties, picnics, birthdays, my deb and more recently, our wedding, Lils christening and all the help and assistance you have always given in so many ways - big and small. We may not have been blood related but to me your were family. You have been an Aunty - one of my favourites. Thank you for everything you have done - always welcoming us with open arms. The love and care between our families will continue as you now rest in peace and watch over from above. Love you and miss you, Lara, Steve and Lilyanna.

Beautiful Olga. You will always be in my heart and mind as one of the most kind, gentle, welcoming and caring people I have ever met. If there was ever a house I could run to as a child, it was yours. If Mum & Dad couldn't pick me up, your number was on speed dial. You & Vassy have always been like a second set of parents, & even though life has been busy & we haven't spent much time together of late, my love for you has never wavered. My life is better having known you. Jimmy, Ava & Connor have been lucky enough to be in your presence and that is something they will cherish. I will think of you while cooking, trying on shoes, touching beautiful fabric, & buying jewelry. I'll always remember your contagious laugh and sparkly eyes. You are forever loved. Tahlia, Jimmy, Ava & Connor.

Kristine and Paul Rewer — 18 March 2023

Many people have vivid memories of special events in their lives. Mine came over 38 years ago when I was invited to dinner at Vas and Olga's place. The table was bursting with food and I foolishly thought that other guests were to arrive. The 4 of us sat down to eat and Olga leaned over and said, "Kristine. This is the 1st course". We both laughed. This was the start of a most remarkable friendship. They became our second family. Her dinner parties were exceptional. She was an amazing cook and hostess. Always directing anyone who came into the kitchen. Priceless. She was a talented dressmaker and made christening gowns, wedding dresses, deb dresses and even flew to Sydney to make dresses for her sister. She also photographed family events, her travels with friends and many, many times spent with the family and her grandchildren. How she loved them! But she wasn't content with just photos. She completed photo books of all her special occasions for her family and friends. For her, these books were about reading and preserving memories . She loved us as a family and my family loved her. She loved her Church and religion played a big part in her life. She volunteered often and worked tirelessly. Everyone I know, who came into contact with Olga loved her. I loved her with a passion and so did my husband Paul and our children. As long as my heart remains beating, I know deep inside, she will always be with me. Goodnight Olga, but not goodbye......Kristine and Paul, Tahlia and Nicholas.

Dear Uncle Vas, Svet and Marina, Our deepest heartfelt condolences to you all. A truly amazing lady has left us too soon. We loved her immensely! We will always remember her unconditional love, joy and laughter. A wonderfully talented designer who had the upmost patience with us and her clients, had stylish and creative ideas all of which we loved, and were lucky enough to have her make for us. She was the best Auntie and Godmother anyone could have ever imagined. She was at every special event in my life as well as my family's with a camera in tow. Always making everyone feel better, special and caring for us all. It was a blessing to have such a happy energetic and radiant person in our lives. I was always looking forward to seeing her, wondering what new hair style, new outfit and shoes would appear, always something new. Oh lets not forget the jewellery! Her kindness and love will always be remembered. Rest in peace, love forever, Larisa, Marina, Kiki and Alex. . . . . A one of a kind Auntie, I will always cherish your love and the support you gave me through everything. Love Pavel. . . . . I will always love you forever, my sister, secret keeper and best friend. Irene. . . . . Olga was my lovely adopted younger sister. Her love for her family and life, her kindness to all people she met, her talents for design, colour in all she touched was outstanding. My entire family will always fondly remember your laugh, openness, kindness and above all your love. Adrian.
